St Jude Radiothon
Country Cares Radiothon for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. WSSL-FM/Whistle 100 will host the 2-day radiothon in December and past radiothons have collected more than $200,000 per year.
Acoustic Jam
The Whistle 100 Acoustic Jam features 3 or 4 country music artists that perform acoustic together on one stage. 2-3 Acoustic Jam events are planned each year. Past artists have included: Dierks Bentley, Trace Adkins, Josh Turner, and Lauren Alaina. The event raises money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Pickin’ in the Park
Similar event to the Whistle 100 Acoustic Jam, but Pickin in the Park is held at an outdoor amphitheater in June. The Whistle 100 Pickin’ in the Park features 3 or 4 country music artists that perform acoustic together on one stage. Past artists have included: Dustin Lynch, Dan + Shay, Frankie Ballard and Parmalee. The event raises money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Live at the Drive
Partnership with Class A Minor League Baseball team, The Greenville Drive. iHeartGreenville stations (WSSL, WESC, WMYI, WGVL-A, and WROO) partner with various sponsors during 6 Saturday home games of the Greenville Drive.
Annual Ellis & Bradley Stuff the Truck
Toy drive to benefit the Upstate Toys for Tots, that is held for an entire day in December.
